Trauma responses and trauma bonds are two things that tend to become addictive to someone who’s experienced trauma for two big reasons. First, it’s familiar. Remember, safety is not familiar to a traumatized person. Pain is. Second, the body keeps re-attempting to finally find safety. Learn about all of this and much more in today’s episode.
